What's New?

MAY 2011 - Capital Sign Language has a walking team!  We are Signs of Hope and we’re walking for the City of Hope 5k, raising money for women’s cancers.

OCT 2011 - Signs of Hope walks for Parkinson’s Disease!  Move On is a 5k walk for Parkinson’s Disease.

JAN 2012 - We are now providing interpreters nationally!  We are covering jobs in Chicago and Los Angeles!

MAY 2012 - We are filling jobs in San Francisco, too!

The Signs of Hope team walked in the Avon Walk for Cancer!  Judi Rockhill walked 26.2 miles and Amanda Noonan walked 39.3 miles!  Amazing!

Headquarted in Silver Spring, MD, Capital Sign Language is an interpreter & woman-owned sign language interpreting agency serving organizations and the deaf and hard of hearing community in the Metropolitan Washington DC area. We provide sign language interpreters for a variety of settings and offer sign language classes designed to meet your individual needs.

Our goal is to become a leader in providing interpreting services by selecting quality interpreters who meet the needs for the both the organization and the deaf or hard of hearing consumer. Additionally we strive to provide a supportive environment for interpreters to grow and continue to learn, and to assist businesses in becoming comfortable workplaces for deaf and hard of hearing people.
